Further research:
Louarkie Lougina Sweatt Polson of Chesterfield SC who is buried in the Niven Polson graveyard was the daughter of Thomas Sweatt and Annis Lowry Hunt. Thomas was born 2/2/1802 and died 11/28/1871. (I believe this should be 1873, see will below) Annis was born 10/10/1833 and died 10/19/1916. Louarkie, their daughter, was born 12/31/1865 and died 5/11/1944 and although there is no death certificate for her, her parents are named in her father's will.

The will of Thomas Sweatt is located at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History on Parklane Road in Columbia, SC. It is probate file #348 for Chesterfield County, SC. It states "I leave the following to my daughter, Louarka Lougina one "beauro" upon my death or at the age of twenty one years or married provided that she goes into housekeeping..." "I will and bequeath to my wife Anice P. during her life all the land that I may die seized and possessed of and all my personal property except that mentioned in first, second and third paragraph ..." "... I will that all my personal property that she may not have consumed necessarily by the use of it and in her support shall be equally divided between my two children (namely Louarkie Lougina and Thomas S. Sweatt) by her (Anice) aforementioned and her two children by a previous marriage Cordiann Hunt and John BC Hunt..." Thomas states that he wants Anice to be his executrix. The will is signed and witnessed 10/11/1873 by Thomas Sweatt
