Elizabeth Athey
      Mrs. Elizabeth J. Athey, 89, of Princeton, died Thursday in a McKinney hospital. She was born Aug. 18,1886 in Cleburne, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Jones. She was a member of Princeton First Baptist Church.
      She is survived by four sons, Earl Athey of Princeton, Woodrow W. Athey of Dale City, Okla., J. D. Athey of Amarillo, Cecil Athey of Ft. Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Anderson of Beaver, Okla., Mrs. Mae McMenamy of Ft. Worth; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Ed Jones of California; one sister, Mrs. Cary Edwards of California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Athey, one son, Elmer Athey.
      Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Friday in Princeton First Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Greer and Rev. Morris Robbins officiating. Interment was in Princeton Cemetery, Turrentine Jackson - Morrow Funeral Directors in charge.
