WILLIAM H. WILSON. Born June 18, 1946, in Dallas, Texas and passed away February 10, 2005 in Dallas, Texas. William grew up in Dallas, graduated from Saint Mark's School of Texas in 1964 and there after from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 1968, where he was a member of Beta Chi Omega Fraternity and the football team. After college, he lived in several towns and then settled in Troy, Texas were he made his home for over 20 years, concentrating on agriculture and in his later life serving at the VA hospital in Temple. He was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, where he was on the board. William was a kind, quiet, jovial country gentleman who enjoyed agriculture, cars and tractors, and loved his friends and family.

He was the great-grandson of Edward Hayes Wilson, original enroller and Secretary of State of the Choctaw Nation and Emma Everidge Wilson; and the Haley and Littlepage families, pioneers of Irving and Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Haley Wilson. He is survived by his two sons, his father Edward Lewis Wilson, Jr., a brother and sister, 3 aunts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
