Carter had been associated with the Eddie Coe Drilling company of Liberal, Kan and was living with his family at Turpin at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife Wylie and two daughters, Kathy 7 and Susan 3 all of the home
Also surviving are his mother Mrs Sallie Carter two brothers R A Carter and I D Carter, all of Guymon two sisters Mrs Jack Brewster Vinita, and Mrs Luther Mallard Lawton. Three other brothers Orviłłe Carter Perryton Tex , and Kermit Carter and Bill Carter, both of Orlando Fla also Survive.
