Mrs. Rieck was born in Canton, OK. She moved to Liberal in 1946 from Blaine County, OK.
She was a waitress at Sally Ann Cafe for 10 years and at the Golden Derrick Restaurant, both in Liberal. She also helped in her daughters' cafes.
She married Leonard P. Rieck 5/26/1941.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte (1944-1999).
Survivors include her husband; three sons: Leonard D. of CA, Marvin L. of VA, and Rodney L. of TX; three daughters: Leona of OK, Joan of KS, and Linda of OK; two brothers: Howard and Alfred both of KS; a sister,
Hazel of OK; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
