Obit: JOHN "J.T." ADDISON, 76, of Memphis, electrician with John Murrell, died February 26, 2008 at Spring Gate Nursing Home, Memphis. Visitation will be from5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 28, and funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 29, both at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar. Burial in Big Creek Cemetery, Millington. Mr. Addison was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church, reserve with Shelby County Sheriff's Department, and co-owner for LaVada's Estate Sales for 25 years. He leaves his wife of 27 years, former owner of LaVada's Estate Sales, LaVada Addison; one daughter, Deborah Wade (Mike) of Memphis; four sons, Thomas Addison and Terry Addison, both of Memphis, Bobby Whitlock of Austin, TX, and Nathan Whitlock of Memphis; one sister, Norma Jordan of Memphis; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
