Graveside services for Addie Mears Newman, 88, of Murfreesboro, who died Sunday, Dec. 12, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Fred Mosley will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late George and Belle Fuston Mears and the widow of Dorris O. Newman.
She is survived by a son, Charles Newman of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Dorothy Shea of McMinnville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A native of Bradyville, she was a member of the Riverdale Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
