Fort Worth - J.T. Richey, 79, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2006, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Mr. Richey served in the U.S. Air Force and was a general superintendent with Bell Helicopter, retiring after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Marion Richey; daughter Vickie Lynn and Susan Jan; and son, Jerry Michael.

Survivors: Sons, Tommy Richey and wife, Lisa, and Danny Taylor; grandchildren, Shawn W. Taylor, Kayley Cagle and husband, Cody. Tiffany Cearley and husband, Jason, and Nickie Franks and husband, Joe; brother, Willis Richey and wife, Mary; sisters, Bessie Donnahoo and Virgie Potter; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
