The funeral services were held from his late residence at 3 PM by Rev. Philimon Day of West
Hartford officiating.. The burial was in the cemetery at Burlington Center.
Though well known as one of Burlington's older residents, having made his home there for
the last 33 years. Mr. Campbell's native town was Mt. Washington, MA where he was born in
1827. He was the son of Robert Campbell of that place. He married Celina A.Lamson, also of
Mt. Washington, who survives him. Their wedded life extended over 56 years. Mr. Campbell's
wonderful patience during his last illness will long be remembered by those who cared for him.
He leaves 5 children; Mrs. Eugene McIntyre of Danby, VT; Mrs. C.B.Abell of Bristol; Waldo
M.Campbell and Charles A.Campbell of Brooklyn, NY and Marks Campbell of Danby, VT.
