MRS. ANNIE DINWOODEY, UTAH PIONEER, IS DEAD
Mrs. Annie Dinwoodey, Utah pionner of 1859, died Friday morning in Los Angeles, where she had resided during the past year for her health. Mrs. Dinwoodey was the wife of Henry Dinwoodey, founder of the Dinwoodey store here, who died three years ago. She was born September 15, 1840, in Wolverhampton, England, and emigrated to Salt Lake City with Captain John Brown's company, walking aross the plains, in 1859.
She is survived by the following sons and daughters: H.M. Dinwoodey, L.G. Dinwoodey, Mrs. R.P. Morris and Mrs William C. Wright, all of Salt Lake City; twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangement for interment await the arrival in Salt Lake Sunday of H.M. Dinwoodey, who will bring the body to this city, and of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Wickman, formerly Mrs. William P. Dinwoodey, from New York.
