Mrs. Lorita Faye Blackburn Bane, age 86, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Bedford, Indiana. She was born February 1, 1927 in Coalwood, McDowell County, West Virginia to Charles Glen Blackburn and Katherine "Katie" Maynard Blackburn. Mrs. Bane was a member of the Rockwood Bible Methodist Church and was a retired Nursing Secretary with Chamberlain Memorial Hospital in Rockwood, Tennessee with 30 years of service. She was a faithful supporter of Missions and laboring to meet the needs of her community; and was active in the Tennessee Bible Methodist Conference. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Pud" Bane; and brother, Norman Ersel Blackburn.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Dan Raush and Rev. Steven Hight officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
