Mrs. Adams was a native of Tupelo, Mississippi, having made North Augusta her home for the past 50 years. She was retired from Carole Fabrics with 22 years of service. Mrs. Adams was dedicated to caring for her family and had a great sense of humor. She loved children, enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include three sons, James H. Heard, Jr., Coventry, RI, Jerry Heard, Trenton, SC and David Heard, Columbia, SC; two daughters, Lessie Fulmer, Langley, SC and Beverly Heard, North Augusta, SC; one step-daughter, Arlene Morton, North Augusta, SC; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Irma________, Tupelo, MS.
