She was born in Waterville, ME, daughter of the late Howard and Thelma (Partridge) Alley. Mary retired from AMF CUNO as an assembler.
She is survived by her three children, Walter E. Welz, Jr., Philip P. Welz and his wife Fiona, and Mary Ann Martorelli and her husband Kim; six grandchildren, Philip P. Welz, Jr., Patrick Welz, Jessica McCray and her husband Doug, Cassandra Welz, Kyle Welz, and Michaela Martorelli; two great grandchildren, Audrey and Alexandra McCray; brother, William Alley; sister, Nancy Farrenkopt; her friend and companion, Joseph Ouellette; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral service to take place at 11 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
