Mine Blast Victim to Be Buried Sunday
BINGHAM. Jan. 27 - Funeral services for Alfred George Mitchell, 55, who died Wednesday as the result of injuries suffered in an explosions at the United States Smelting, Refining and Mining company's mine Tuesday, will be held Sunday at 12:15 p.m. in the Sandy Second ward chapel.
Mr. Mitchell had been employed at the mine for the past fifteen years. He was born in Utah, September 28, 1872. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Alice Duffield Mitchell; children, Lee, Alice and Anita Mitchell, and three step sons, Harold, Vaughn and Earl Christensen.
