Widow of Civil War Veteran to be Buried Wednesday
Jacksonville - Dec. 19, - Mrs. Lucinda Altman, 79 years of age, died Sunday night at 8:30 o'clock. She had been in failing health for some time, but her last illness was of only a week's duration. She was the widow of of Daniel Altman, Civil War veteran, who died at this place 17 years ago.
She leaves four children - William Altman, Bridgeport, W. Va.; John Altman, Mrs. Frank Kearne and Vera Altman, Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be conducted at the U. B. Church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Caster. Burial will be made in the Russell Cemetery near this place.

Lucinda was the daughter of Lewis and Malinda Crabtree. She married Daniel Altman on June 29, 1872 in Scioto County, Ohio.
