Bonita Mae Cass, 88, of Gotham, died January 21, 2017 at her home. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Richland County the daughter of Vern and Dorothy (Hickox) Cass. Bonita graduated from Ithaca High School in 1946. Bonita was united in marriage to George Faulkner in 1946 at the Methodist Church. She helped George on the farm before going to work at Badger Ordinance and later Pine Valley Heath Care in housekeeping. After retirement Bonita enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing games and cards with her friends.
Bonita is survived by four children: Charlene (Benny) Stenner of Spring Green, George (Evelyn) Faulkner of Boaz, Dorothea (Allen) Broaddus of Hillpoint, James (partner Robin Rouse) Faulkner of Cassville; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; special friend: Manly Bird of Sextonville, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Dorothy, step mother Marie, brothers Ted and Richard.
