Edward H. McKeldin, died in the Battle of Monocacy,1864. Enlisted 21 Nov 1861, Co B, Baltimore Light Infantry, re-enlisted Co A, Second Maryland Cavalry. He enlisted 13 June 1864 Co I, Eleventh Regiment, Maryland Volunteers. Grandfather of the late Governor of Maryland, Theodore R. McKeldin.
