༻✿ Merrill Everett Steinberger was the son of Clarence and Zora (Wallace) Steinberger, born Dec. 28, 1919 Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Cousin Merrill was the wild child of the family, yet he had the kind of personality that made everyone love him. If someone wanted to listen he always had a story to tell that would captivate and delight the listeners.
Merrill was independent and lived his life the way he wanted, burning the candle at both ends and in the middle all at the same time. He belonged to a local biker club. One time he over slept when he had to be at a club meeting out of town. Merrill had everything packed and ready to go the night before, so when he got up he grabbed up everything and ran out the door. He didn't bother to dress and rode his bike non-stop all the way to his destination in just his underwear. That was our Merrill, the wild child to the end. His entrance was always noticed among our conservative type of family.
Merrill married twice and had children from both marriages.
Merrill was married to Billie Louise Weikel.
Known Children of Merrill and Billie (Weikel) Steinberger:
1) Virginia "Ginger" (Steinberger) Dalrymple Hackworth;
2) Sherry (Steinberger) Osborn;
3) Steven Merrill Steinberger. Steve first married, Patricia Chrisman, they had one daughter,
Known Child of Steven and Patricia (Chrisman) Steinberger:
1) Candy Lee (Steinberger) Brown.
Steve married his second wife Cynthia L Summers Via
Known children of Steven and Cynthia L (Summers Via) Steinberger
2) Lindsey Alexandra Steinberger.
Cynthia had two children by her prior marriage:
A) Brianne Via and
B) Joshua Via.
Merrill and Billie divorced about 1957. Merrill then married Phyllis (maiden name unknown).
They had two children:
1) Denise (Steinberger) Krumdeick, born December 29, 1956; and
2) Mark Everett Steinberger, died in 1994 from aids.
Merrill I hope God has made a special place for you where you can ride free and happy! May you rest in God's peace. You are missed.
