Arthur Jameson died in Van Buren County Hospital at Keosauqua
after a one month illness. He was born July 4, 1876. His wife, Mrs. Zelda (Zedda) Jameson, died in 1948.
Surviving are a brother, Ed Jameson, Keosauqua, and five half brothers and half sisters, all living in Idaho. They are Frank, Will, Darrel, and Dorothy Jameson and Mrs. June Rocks. Two sisters, Mary and Carrie, died previously.
Services will be held at the Burch-Catcott Funeral Home at 2 PM Saturday. the Rev. Howard C. Irvine, pastor of the Birmingham Presbyterian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua.
Note: his WWI registration lists his age as 44 in 1918, and lists his birth year as 1874.
