William Clifton Thrasher, 76, died Friday afternoon at his home.

Services were held Sunday at the Lone Oak Baptist Church. With burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Pete Wooley and Rev. Bill Mason officiated.

Mr. Thrasher was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors are his wife Worthy Glisson Thrasher, a daughter Dorothy Mills of Walnut, five sons, Mitchell Thrasher of Rienzi, W.C. Thrasher, Junior Thrasher, Roger Dale Thrasher, all of Corinth, Pad Thrasher of Ripley. Four sisters, Mattie Baldridge of Milan, Tenn., Ruby Jumper, Elvie Fisher, Nora Green, all of Corinth, a brother Dalton Thrasher of Corinth. 15 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Coleman Funeral Home of Corinth was in charge of arrangements.
