Born in Isabella, Ga., Jim was a long-term resident of Enfield. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked at Hamilton Standard, Anderson Labs, before retiring from Hallmark Cards after 20 years.
Along with his wife, Lee, he is survived by his children, Dr. James Bozeman Jr. of Lower Waterford, Vt., Cmdr. John Bozeman, retired, and his wife, Donna, of Bristol, R.I., Jeanne (Bozeman) Donohue, and her husband, Paul, of Somers, Mark (Jeff) Bozeman, and his wife, Patricia, of Simsbury, and two infant children, Donald and Joanne K. (deceased), along with five grandchildren, Matthew, Marie, Yasmin, Justin, and Erin. He was predeceased by six brothers, and survived by Donald Bozeman, and his brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Kathy Kelleher and Woody Carter, and many nieces and nephews.
Jim's family will receive friends for calling hours on Thursday, March 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
Services and burial were private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Enfield Food Shelf, 96 Alden Ave., Enfield, CT 06082 where he volunteered for many years.
