Henry K. Walter, of No. 1329 Gordon street, died on Tuesday of pneumonia, after a few days' illness. He was 61 years, 7 months and 22 days of age and was born in Longswamp township. He was a son of Mary and the late John Walters. He came to Allentown a number of years ago and since then was employed in the car shops of the Lehigh Valley Transit Company. He leaves the following children: George, of Fullerton; Fred, of Philadelphia; John, of Trenton; Mrs. T. Fried, Mrs. J. D. Peachey, of Newark; Annie, Edna and Charles at home; a brother Fred, of Allentown, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Fahler and Sue Walters, of Allentown. Deceased was a member of Zion U.B. Church, Vienna Lodge, No. 847, I.O.O.F. and the Lehigh Valley Transit Relief Association.
