Mary Louise O'Bryan, 81, of Louisville, died Thursday, December 18, 2003. She was a volunteer for Applepatch with the Special Olympics, a former member of Iroquois Hill Runners and a member of Shively Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. O'Bryan Jr., and her son, Michael O'Bryan.

Survivors include two sons, John O'Bryan III and his wife, Pat, and Kevin O'Bryan and his wife, Kristie; three daughters, Nancy O'Bryan, Patty Smith and Susan O'Bryan; eight grandchildren; five great-grand-children and one "on the way"; and a brother, Bud White.

Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., a family-owned and operated funeral home centre. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Cedar Lake Lodge.
