NEW ALBANY – Lorea Woodham Nowlin, 91, died Feb. 9, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Cherry Valley, Ark., to William Sherman Woodham and Ada Mae Henderson Woodham. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fredonia Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Kenny Adair officiating. Burial will be in the Ingomar Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Garrison (Troy) of Randolph; two sons, Larry Nowlin (Kay) and Ken Nowlin, both of Ecru; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ervin Nowlin; eight sisters and brothers; and one grandson.

Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Fredonia Baptist Church Building Fund, 1615 CR 86, New Albany, MS 38652.
