VILLARREAL, ANGELITA M.

Age 90 years, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Carriage House of Bay City. She was born August 2, 1922 to the late Tomas and Mary Aviles in Monterey, Mexico. Angelita married Guadalupe Villarreal on May 10, 1943 who predeceased her on November 20, 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, and she loved crocheting, sewing, bingo, and cooking.
Surviving are her six children: Gloria Villarreal, Mary Whyte, Maria (Russell) Rice, Christina (John) Torres, Tom (JoAnn) Villarreal, Rose (Gary) Wojciechowski; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Rudy Aviles.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church (1005 Third St, Bay City). Angelita will lie in state in church Thursday after 9:00am. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated for the "Wishes of the Family". Visiting hours with the family will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:30pm; on Wednesday from 2 – 5 and 6:30 until 8:30 with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
