Margaret Mary Bratcher, 91, of Richmond, formerly of Louisville, Ky., went home to be with the Lord August 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Bratcher, and her son-in-law, Gilbert J. Wirth Sr. She is survived by her daughter, LaVerne B. Wirth; her grandchildren, Chip and Patty Wirth, Terri and Jon Babineau, Denis Wirth, Elizabeth and Mike Edwards, Maggie and Eric Deglau; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Genevieve Krempp and Dorothy Holzknecht; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Barrett; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all of her friends in the St. Mary's Woods community. Mrs. Bratcher was a member of the K-Cettes and a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church. A Christian Wake service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, where a mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Building Fund, 9505 Gayton Road, Richmond, Va 23229. Arrangements are being handled by the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home.
