Kathleen was born in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Marian (Doppel) Poort. She was a loving person and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She passed away, and is survived by her mother, Marian A. Poort of Ionia; brother, Larry (Cynthia) Poort of Hastings; sister, Sharon (Vince) Nevins of Ionia; 8 nieces and nephews; 24 grand-nieces and nephews; and the caretakers at Lawrence Home. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald; and a nephew, John. Services were held at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Dwight Reed officiating.
