CHARLOTTE ~ Mrs. Alberta Patterson Adams, 105, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at home.
She was a native of Cleveland County, daughter of the late Amanda Patterson McCarthy. She was raised by her grandparents, George Washington and Sophronia Patterson in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at Epworth United Methodist Church, Gastonia.
Burial will be at North Oakland St. Cemetery.
Costner Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
