CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Freeda Lee Adams, 93, of Detroit, Texas, died Friday, July 27, 2018, in a Paris, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Adams was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Bagwell, Texas. She was a member of Angels Nursing Association, Detroit "42" Club, Detroit Garden Club and Detroit First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Adams; one daughter, Patsy Brazzil; and one grandson, Jerry Dean Boulware. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Adams; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Don Boulware, Mary Jim Woods and Joe Lynn and Dorothy Jean Roberts; one sister, Frances Ann Adams; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary McCain officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
