Mr. Hubbard worked as a Machinist at Burndy Corp. for 12 years.
From 1925 to 1984 Bob attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Danbury. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church. and the Democratic Club, both of Barefoot Bay, Florida. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the 315th Fighter Group in North Africa and France with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Jane Hubbard, of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; sons: John Robert and wife, Rosa Hubbard, and their children: Amy, Sarah, and Matthew, of Torrington; Allen Henry and wife, Nancie Hubbard, and their children: Allen, Mary Kate, Michael, and Grace of Newtown; sisters: Florence Foley, of New Milford; Barbara McDonnell, of Lancaster, Pa.; and brother, Richard Hubbard, of Vero Beach, Fla.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Danbury.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, in memory of Mr. Hubbard.
