James Weatherford, 74 Anderson, In. passed away at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, In. after an extended illness with family members by his bedside. Jim grew up in Monterey Tn. And moved to Indiana at age 16. He retired from Delco Remy and operated his own trucking business for IMI. He was an avid NASCAR and Indy 500 fan and could grill anything. He bought a cottage on Big Barbee that once was owned by Clark Gable. Jim is survived by his wife Connie L. Weatherford four children, Gary (Cindy) Weatherford, Beverly (Michael) Shrake, Nancy (Roger) Hoffman and Timothy (Cindy) Weatherford; mother of his children Beverly Sue Weatherford. Special friends Dick and Dixie Gary. and cousin, IIa Rose Fletchall.He was preceded in death by his parents Alf and Dolly (Harris) Weatherford; and daughter, Pamela Louise Weatherford. visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Chematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, In. services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the South Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. Memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
