Mrs. Joseph Niesen
MIDDLETON — Mrs. Joseph Niesen, 68, died at her home in Middleton Thursday. Formerly of Martinsville, she had lived here for the past 12 years. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic church and of its Christian Mothers and Altar societies. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Howard France, Middleton; Mrs. Paul Ciebarth, Madison; and Mrs. Howard DeBower, Cottage Grove; three sons, Martin, Dane; Michael, Deerfield, and Herman, Madison; 18 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. John Maier, Martinsville; and five brothers, Lawrence Endres, Waunakee; Isadore, Cross Plains; Leonard, Sauk City; Michael, Dane; and Valentine, Waunakee. Funeral services will be held at Gruber funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and in St. Bernards' church at 10 a.m. The Rev. F. A. Mack will officiate and burial will be in St. Martin's cemetery at Martinsville. The rosary will be recited at 5:45 tonight at the funeral home the Christian Mothers and Altar societies.
