Vestal Lorene Arnold was born in Kaufman on April 17, 1911, to Wyatt and Arvie Gray Stanfield. She passed away in a Dallas hospital on Nov. 26, 2001.
Lorene was raised in Dallas and Kaufman and had lived in Kaufman for 28 years. She married Cecil Arnold on June 24, 1934, in Crockett, Texas, and he passed away on Aug. 3, 1979. Lorene was a member of the Wilson Chapel Methodist Church and the Kaufman Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sons: Don Arnold of Rockwall and Richard Arnold of Payne Springs; daughter: Shirley Nixon of Kaufman; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
