Fred A. DeJarnatt, 66, died Tuesday morning at Veterans Hospital in Marion after being ill four months.

He was born at Mt. Vernon, Illinois. In 1910 he was married to Lola A. Johnson, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald N. Claflin of Houston, Texas and three grandchildren.

He operated a collection agency. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. A veteran of World War I, he was a charter member of Jackson County Chapter 69 of the Disabled American Veterans.
