Hiram M.N. Kahele, 49, of Hilo, a commercial fisherman, died May 11 in Hilo. He is survived by companion Teone Wong; sons Hiram Jr., Hayden and Nenui Kahele and Erie Wong; daughters Gracie Kahele-Puu and Charnelle and Sarah Kahele; brothers Kaipo De Geair and Francis, Wilfred and Thomas Lobo; sisters Mary Don Rawlins, Betty Jean Spillner, Sheila Kahalepauole, Verna Lei Kahele and Karen Ametuanai, and five granddaughters. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary in Hilo. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Casual attire.
