Obituary:
Alfred "Mickey" Kaspar, 70, of Vidor died Sunday December 7, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Thorndale, TX., he lived in Evadale for 18 years before moving to Vidor 1 year ago. Mickey was a Lab Technician for Dupont Beaumont Works were he retired after 38 years in 1994. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Beaumont, TX. Mr. Kaspar is survived by his loving wife Jackie of Vidor, sons, Jeffery Lane of Vidor, TX., Kevin Shane of Quaker, PA., daughters, Stephanie Kaspar, and Stacy Cathey both of Vidor, TX., brothers, Weldon Kaspar, Walter Kaspar both of Fannett, TX., and Rev. Donald Kaspar of Huntsville, TX., sisters, Hattie Fleischer, and Lillian Fausett both of Beaumont, TX., and seven grandchildren. (http://memorialofvidor.com/)
