Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Philip Eric Nicholson are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Thrace Cemetery near Bowlegs with Rev. Roy Robertson to officiate.
The interment will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Nicholson, 64, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 at Seminole Medical Center. He was born Nov. 7, 1940 in Seminole to Eric and Esther (Wright) Nicholson Fowler.
He was graduated from Seminole High School in 1959 and attended Seminole Junior College for two years and then Barber College.
Nicholson married Margaret Matthews on Nov. 10, 1983 in Bowlegs. Nicholson was a barber for 20 years, then worked as a security guard at Wrangler before retiring in 1996.
His father, mother, and step-father, Bud Fowler all precede him in death.
Surviving him is his wife Margaret Nicholson of their Bowlegs home; four daughters, Johnna Nicholson and Chelsea Nicholson, both of the home, Julie Riddle of Wewoka, and Angie Richardson of Seminole; four grandsons and one granddaughter.
Casket bearers for the service will be Clifford Stafford, Rick Carter, Zak King, James Riddle, Donny Skaggs, and Trey Richardson.
Honorary bearers will be Hoyle Schlueter, Ronnie Richardson, Jimmy Mitchell, Wayne Matthews, Kenneth Matthews, Bob Northcott, Gene Staggs, and John Smith.
