Henry Hopkins was working in Detroit MI. and had broke it off with Frances Haggard before he went back to work ( they both lived in Marshall County TN.) He found that he couldn't be without her so he hitched a ride back down and pulled up in front of her house, where she was sweeping the front porch. The minute she saw him get out of the car the broom went flying and she ran to him. Four children later and 28 years of marriage it was a true love story.
