Lola Mae Magnino, 80, of Shawnee, moved to live with her Heavenly Father February 13, 2013, at Rose Manor in Shawnee.

Lola was born November 23, 1932 to Albert Niles and Eula (Connes) Wilson in Jetmore, KS. She was raised and attended school in Jetmore, KS. She graduated JHS in 1951, and moved to Shawnee afterward to attend OBU. She worked at Baxter Hospital while attending OBU. She met A.J. Magnino and they married August 29, 1952, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Lola attended Liberty Baptist Church for the last 60 years and taught 3, 4, and 5 year old Sunday School and Junior church for 45 years. She was a youth group sponsor, member of Red Hat Ladies, and the Ladies Bible Studies. At age 50 she obtained her LPN degree at Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech and worked at Holdenville General Hospital and Colonial Estates. Lola also worked as a nurse at Shawnee Medical Clinic, Liberty Retirement Center and Liberty Academy. Lola enjoyed her cake decorating hobby. She decorated countless birthday cakes for grandchildren, family members and co-workers. She also did wedding cakes which brought rave reviews.

Lola was preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremy Bath; niece, Lois Jackson; father, Albert Wilson; mother, Eula Wilson; sister, Fern Quirmbach; Son-in Law, George Davis; and brother-in-law, James (Dub) Childers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, A.J. of the home, and daughters, Kathie French and husband Jim, Beverly Lane and husband Rod, and Marilyn Davis. Nine randchildren, Stacey Ninness and husband Todd, James Montgomery and fiance' Mary Noland, John Hill and fiance' Misty Allen, Jacob Hill, Sundie Tucker and husband Ernie, Michael Ferrell and wife Abby, Amber Welch, and husband Matt, Tasha Herron and husband Chicago. Brother-¬in-law, Charles Quirmbach, Oceanside, CA; sister, Arylene Jackson, Jetmore, KS; sister, Barbara Bath and husband Jim, Wichita, KS; Brothers and Sisters in-Law, Katherine Childers, Christina and Johnny Watson, Pete and Donna Magnino and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was a very proud Grandma and wanted everyone to know she had 19 great¬grandchildren: Gage and Garrett Ninness; Taylor, Kyle, Karson, and Macie Montgomery; Macie Noland; Trinity Hill; Billy, Tiffany, and Katelyn Tucker; Kate and one unborn Ferrell; Matthew, James, and Elliana Welch and Chicago, Colton, and Caydence Herron.

Memorial has been established with Liberty Baptist Church and can be sent to Walker Funeral Service, 201 E. 45th St, Shawnee, OK 74804.

A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 4:00 pm with Scott Hendry officiating.
