Juanita Stewart Boyd, 91, of Madisonville died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Baptist Health Madisonville. She was born Jan. 23, 1922, near Echols in Ohio County. She was a 1940 graduate of Rockport High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Myrtie Ann Stewart; four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George W. Boyd of Madisonville; one daughter, Jan (Richard) Melton of Providence; one son, William Stewart Boyd of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Georgianna (Randy) Haas of Evansville and Stanton A. Melton of Providence; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Haas, Justin Haas and Megan Jackson, all of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
