He was a 1988 graduate of Huntington North High School. He was born Oct. 2, 1969 in Marion to David and Jorita Banter. His parents survive in Marion. Additional survivors include a sister, Kim R. Banter, Fort Wayne, and his grandmother, V. Esther Martin, Warren.
