ALGER - George William McCraeary, 84, died at noon Saturday in Santa Maria ,Calif. Born July 8, 1897, in Hardin County, he was the son of John and Katie Vounghaunfl McCraeary. On Jan. 7, he, he married Isabel Crane, who died Dec. 8, 1961. Mr. McCraeary was a retired restaurant employee. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Emma Kathryn) Lawrence of Alger and Mrs. Donald (Alice Jean) Plott of Santa Maria, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren: and a sister, Irene Lawrence of Alger. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday an Hanson-Necly Funeral Home, Alger, Rev. Clair bailey officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery . Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
