Amelia Zercher Moser passed away on August 6, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Cedar Park, TX. Burial services were conducted at Forest Grove Cemetery, Tenino, WA, on August 12th. Amy was born in Columbia, PA. She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School and attended Franklin and Marshall College. Her career included a number of executive secretary and administrative positions. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Columbia. Preceding Amy in death were her father, Edward William Zercher, Sr., her mother, Janet Snyder Zercher and her brother, Cleon Zercher. She is survived by brothers Edward Zercher, Jr. (Audrey) in Lititz and John Zercher (Sandra) in Columbia, sisters J. Lane Zercher in Lancaster and Marcy Zercher Hershey (Wayne) in Columbia, husband of 46 years David E. (Ned) Moser in Cedar Park, TX, sons Nathan Moser (Lisa Lowrey) in Cedar Park and John (Jake) Moser (Paige) in Spring, TX and grandchildren Alexa, Jack, and Emma Moser in Spring and Miranda Moser in Cedar Park. Amy was devoted to her family. When she became a mother, she channeled her energies and interests towards providing a nurturing, wholesome, stimulating environment for the boys from their earliest years through their leaving home for college. Throughout Amy's working career and her participation in various social organizations and groups and family gatherings, her gentle, sweet disposition and her charming sense of humor endeared her to all who came to know her. Everyone loved Amy. Special thanks are due to the volunteers and staff at the House of Friends Alzheimer's respite program at Bethany United Methodist Church in Austin, TX and the staff at Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center for their care and devotion to Amy in her final months. Memorial services celebrating Amy's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St., Columbia. Donations may be made in Amy's name to the House of Friends Alzheimer's respite program at Bethany United Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, TX 78750.
