She was born on May 28, 1942 in Louisville, KY, to the late Earl F. Oliver and Virginia Waters. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Louisville.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William K. Adams, Sr.; and a sister, Carol White.
A visitation celebrating Doris' life will be conducted Monday from 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with private inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
