Chris was born on August 16, 1920 in Dallas to T.S. and Thelma (Tarpley) Christopher. A long time resident of Irving and Grapevine, Texas he served during WW II and had a career with Braniff, Texas International and Continental Airlines.
He married Billie Ruth Duke on September 28, 1943 and again on Nov. 11, 2004. Chris enjoyed boating on Lake Grapevine and singing with the Grapevine Senior Center.
Chris is survived by his wife Billie. Daughters Jan Green and husband Sam and Georgia Werner. Sons Charles Christopher and M. Tom Christopher and wife Judy.
Step-sons Perry T. Clark and Bob Clark and wife Jane.
Brother Billy Christopher and wife Joy of Colorado. Sister Rose Munson and husband Ed of Ft. Worth TX.
12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A Christian memorial service will be Friday, March 2, at 3:00 in the Lake Forest Good Samaritan Chapel officiated by Lynda Schupp. Memorials may be made to the Lake Forest Wellness Ministry.
