Charlie Manley Price, was the son of Hubert Manley and Nancy Ann Clanton Price. His parents died 3 days apart when he was 4 years old. He & his brother, John Wilson and older sister, Ethel Mae went to live with their grandparents Jackson & Cornelia Trull Price until their grandparents death. Ethel Mae took care of the two brothers. Charlie married Gerusha Banner Gilliam 21 October 1908 Lamar County, Alabama, they had 6 children; Manley, William, Eulean, Clanton "Doc", Vaudeen & Ethel.
Charlie was killed in an accident about 1/2 mile from home.
