Mrs. Caroline Eliza Ricketts, 82, widow of Charles Edward Ricketts, Union Bridge, died Thursday at 5pm at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilson Harris, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late William and Emma M. Fritz. Her husband predeceased.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Wilson Harris and Ralph D. Ricketts, both of Union Bridge. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Bertie Mitchell of Rock Falls, IL, Edward Fritz of Mountainview, CA, Tony Fritz of Burbank, CA and Arnold Fritz of Wilmer, MN.
Mrs. Ricketts was a member of the Union Bridge Methodist church.
The body is at the Union Bridge funeral home of D. D. Hartzler and Sons where services will be held Sunday at 2pm. Rev. Cyril J. Hoover, her pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Linganore Cemetery, Unionville. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening.
