She was born in Deltaville on November 15, 1942. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Nathan "Nat" Scott Edwards, and her father, J. Edmond Harrow, both of Deltaville.
She is survived by her mother, Louise Shackelford Harrow of Deltaville; sister, Sally Harrow of Hallieford; brother, J. Edmond Harrow Jr. and his wife Karen of Chesterfield; three daughters, Cheryl Evans of Gloucester, Pam Taylor of Mathews, and Lisa Morris of Topping; son, Chris Stewart of Plainview; six grandchildren, Brandy McKee, Logan Taylor, Olivia Stewart, Nikki Taylor, and Nathan and Emma Morris; two nieces, Kori and LeAnne Harrow, both of Richmond.
She enjoyed working as a CNA for many years, was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved being on the water and traveling the beaches from New Jersey to Florida.
A memorial service will be at Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville, on Sunday, June 24, at 3 p.m. with graveside services following in Philippi Memorial Gardens.
Joyce loved being with her family and will be greatly missed. She appreciated the love shown during her illness and remained in faith until the end.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Philippi Christian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 555, Deltaville, VA 23043.

Joyce married John Wade Stewart on September 8, 1961 in Deltaville, Middlesex County, Va. They divorced in July 1988.
