WEST SPRINGFIELD - Glenn Patrick Wright of West Springfield, MA, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 13th at Baystate Medical Center after a long illness. While serving in the United States Air Force at Westover AFB, Glenn achieved special recognition as Airman of the Month for his outstanding service. Glenn retired from NCR Corporation after 35 years as a Field Engineer. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Leslee Ward Wright, 2 daughters, Donna Foscolos and husband Nick Foscolos of Sudbury, MA and Deborah Chalew of Encino, CA. his 3 grandchildren, Tereza Foscolos, Anthony Foscolos, and Samantha Chalew. He also leaves 2 sisters, Jane Thompson of Indianapolis, IN, and Shirley Nanos also of Indianapolis, IN, and several nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his son, Timothy, in 2005 and his Mother, Ina (Beals) Wright. His treasured pet companion Lucy will also miss him. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday from 4-7PM at TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. The funeral will be Wednesday 9AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10AM Liturgy of Christian burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine St. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centrum Summer Camp Program care of the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department, 26 Central St. West Spfld, MA 01089.
