Mary C. Almond, age 94, a former longtime resident of Mount Clemens, passed away Thursday evening in Traverse City. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah (Brian) Taylor and Judith Donovan; four grandchildren, Leslie and Brett Taylor and Schuyler and Sydney Donovan; and five great-grandchildren, Evan and Ceili Rinaldi and Jackson, Brian II and Emmett Taylor. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Craven Poe Almond, and three siblings, Lee and Ray Amerine and Eva Upleger.
Funeral 10 a.m., Tuesday at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mt. Clemens. Entombment will follow in Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visiting hours from 3-8 p.m. Monday. Memorials contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Macomb County Humane Society.
